Your new digital destination is brought to life through six carefully crafted phases —starting with Discovery, where your vision and goals are unearthed. From there, through Strategy, Design, and Production, your ideas are forged into a stunning, immersive website that amplifies your brand and stops folks in their tracks. Before launch, our thorough Evaluation phase ensures everything works smoothly, and during Launch, your site is finalized with partners by your side for ongoing support. ### Dive In - Our Work - Our Expertise #### Award Winning Digital Agency ### Guiding you from design to launch ##### Our team of website experts will handle the entire development lifecycle of your project, from your website idea to the web development services needed to publishing. The first phase of a good web development project is Discovery. In short, it’s the process of learning. SPINX needs to learn as much as we can about you, your organization’s goals and users, and the required features and functionality of the site. With all this information in hand, we begin to lay the foundation for an optimal website. The Discovery phase will begin with information gathering. Conversations between our Project Management, User Experience and Development teams, and key stakeholders at your end, will further define the goals of the new website, determine the key user personas, and detail the desired functionality for the finished product. ##### User Experience & Information Architecture SPINX will use findings from the Discovery phase as the basis for strategy and suggestions for the site design. In this phase, we will make recommendations for the user experience and information architecture including a site map, core features and functionality, and how to display content in a way that is intuitive, engaging and achieves objectives. In the third phase, the creative process will begin with a couple designs for a home page. We find that basic restraints in terms of color or typography give us the freedom to be very creative with background elements, imagery, spacing between page elements, and animations to help determine the desired look and feel for the website. Once the home page has been approved and the overarching look of the site is locked in, we will then design the remaining pages required for the site. SPINX will mark-up the approved creatives to HTML 5, CSS, JQuery, Angular/ React, among with a suitable programming language and test all code in the latest version of designated browsers. All websites we create are coded as responsive websites using the latest version of Bootstrap, and respond in a way that provides an optimized experience for visitors on mobile devices. The chosen content management system will also be integrated and customized to allow easy updates and management of site content after launch. In addition, our team can also help with content migration during this phase to ensure all content and assets are moved from any existing digital properties into the new site. Phase 5, one of the most critical steps, is where SPINX reviews all facets of the site prior to pushing it live. This includes review of all functionality and content. Reviewing all content to make sure all expectations have been met. modern tools for testing. After a thorough QA process, client is trained on the backend system and will have the opportunity to review and submit any bugs found during their QA process on a platform that is very easy to use tracking system. You will have complete insight into what bugs are being worked on, what are pending, which ones are ready to reviewed by your team and upon successful completion they can be moved into the completed bin. With a launch plan in place, the final phase of the project is to launch the website publicly. This includes reviewing all files and confirming one last time that all content is as viewable, accurate and functional as it was on the development server. Once your new site is live (yay!), our team is available for ongoing website optimization and maintenance needs. ### Learn 25 Web Design Tutorials and Courses for Beginners to Expert Developers in 2024 Top Website Design Companies in 2025 – Choose the Best Web Design Company for your Digital Project #### Uniquely built for your brand ##### Our team of web designers and developers at SPINX Digital excel at creating custom design solutions for every single client - no two sites are alike. Named Awwwards Site of the Month for February 2026, this Shopify built platform showcases over 150 platform updates through an extraordinary fusion of generative Renaissance inspired paintings and the language of modern eCommerce. The Renaissance Edition is an editorial experience for Shopify, a product showcase disguised as an art gallery. Each of the 150+ updates is presented within visually rich, generatively painted environments that draw from the aesthetic vocabulary of Renaissance masters: rich textures, warm luminosity, dramatic composition, and a palette that evokes old masters while remaining unmistakably contemporary. The effect is that browsing through Shopify’s feature announcements feels more like walking through a curated museum exhibition than reading release notes. From a design standpoint, the site demonstrates a masterful understanding of how context shapes perception. By embedding commerce tools and platform features inside an artistic world, Shopify transforms what could be dry product communication into something genuinely beautiful and memorable. The generative painting technique means the imagery is unique and ever shifting, adding an element of discovery to every visit. The Renaissance Edition earned its place among the best website designs of 2026 by proving that even the most utilitarian content software updates can be elevated through exceptional creative direction. It is a benchmark for how technology companies can communicate product stories, and a reminder that the line between art and commerce is thinner than most designers dare to explore. ### Website Design of the Month – January 2026: Bruno Simon’s Portfolio Featured by Awwwards Many portfolio sites rely on scrolling through pages, but Bruno Simon’s takes a different approach by turning navigation into an interactive driving experience. His 2025 portfolio, which earned Awwwards Site of the Month in January 2026, presents a browser-based 3D environment where users control a small vehicle to explore a detailed virtual world. Bruno Simon works as a full-time freelance creative developer and teaches Three.js to an audience of over 46,000 students. His folio website has long been considered one of the most inventive portfolio sites on the internet, and the 2026 rebuild confirms that reputation entirely. Built with Three.js for WebGL rendering, the site places you inside a handcrafted 3D environment complete with spatialized audio like birds, crickets, anvil strikes, campfire crackle, and even a working vehicle horn. Every sound is directional, shifting with your position in the world, creating an experience that engages your ears as completely as your eyes. The portfolio is simultaneously a game, a showcase, and a masterclass in what the web is capable of. Projects are accessed by navigating to physical locations in the 3D space, transforming the act of browsing into exploration. The world is packed with interactive details, bowling pins to knock over, crate explosions, circuit elements, and an intro sequence scored in GarageBand by Bruno himself. The code is open source, and the project has become a reference point for an entire generation of creative developers. What makes Bruno’s Portfolio one of the best website designs of 2026 is not just its technical ambition, but the warmth behind it. It was built originally as an example for his students as a way to show that physics, 3D, and game mechanics belong on the web. It succeeded so completely that it has drawn hundreds of thousands of visitors and continues to inspire the field. This is personal branding elevated to an art form, and a reminder that the best portfolios do not just show what you can do, they make you feel something while doing it. ### Finance Website Design Nominee 2026: ABTC – American Bitcoin Featured by Awwwards In the competitive world of digital finance, American Bitcoin Corporation trading on the Nasdaq as ABTC has built a website that matches the ambition of its mission. Nominated as one of the best finance website designs of 2026 on Awwwards, the ABTC digital platform is a bold, forward looking presence for a company that is building what it describes as the world’s most efficient pure play Bitcoin miner. The ABTC website communicates institutional confidence without sacrificing accessibility. Its design language favors clean, high contrast layouts, striking typography, and a dark toned visual palette that evokes the serious, high stakes world of Bitcoin infrastructure. Every design decision reinforces the company’s core identity: precision, scale, and American built conviction. Sections covering the company’s Bitcoin reserve, mining operations, and strategic accumulation model are presented with clarity and authority. What distinguishes ABTC from other financial websites is the way it communicates a complex and evolving business model integrating large scale self mining operations with disciplined Bitcoin accumulation in a manner that is both compelling for institutional investors and legible for the wider public. The site’s design removes jargon heavy barriers and replaces them with purposeful, confident storytelling. For any business in the financial sector looking to modernize its digital presence, ABTC.com is an instructive case study in how branding, design clarity, and mission driven content can combine into a website that holds the eye and builds trust. As one of the standout finance website designs nominated for 2026, it demonstrates that the best financial platforms do not just display data, they communicate belief. ### Engineering Website Design Nominee 2026: ICOMAT Featured by Awwwards The Bristol-based aerospace firm iCOMAT is proving that high-stakes industrial technology doesn’t have to be visually “heavy.” As an Awwwards-recognized platform, their digital presence mirrors the precision of their proprietary Rapid Tow Shearing (RTS) technology. In an industry often bogged down by dense PDFs and static diagrams, iCOMAT uses a refined, minimalist interface to translate complex composite manufacturing into a coherent visual narrative. The site’s success stems from its “clarity-first” architecture. Rather than burying users in technical jargon, the UX guides visitors through an end-to-end journey from initial structural analysis to the delivery of high-performance components for automotive and space sectors. The aesthetic is clinical yet accessible, utilizing generous white space and high-definition production imagery to build immediate authority. iCOMAT represents a shift in B2B digital strategy. It treats the engineer, the investor, and the casual observer with equal respect, offering technical depth without sacrificing modern sophistication. It is a masterclass in how specialized brands can use thoughtful design to turn “invisible” engineering processes into a tangible, premium brand experience. ### Education Website Design Nominee 2026: The Overlake School Featured by Awwwards Most educational websites attempt to serve as a high-pressure recruitment tool for parents while acting as a functional portal for students and faculty. The Overlake School (Redmond, WA) broke this cycle with a digital presence that prioritizes institutional “vibe” over dry data. Originally recognized as an Awwwards Nominee Site of the Day 2026, the platform remains a benchmark for how private institutions can balance academic prestige with a sense of approachable community. The site’s design avoids the clinical, “corporate campus” aesthetic that plagues many independent schools. Instead, it utilizes a “cinematic-first” approach, where high-fidelity photography of classroom interactions and campus life does the heavy lifting. The color palette is particularly effective; it avoids the aggressive primary colors common in the sector, opting instead for a sophisticated, layered scheme that suggests intellectual rigor without feeling cold or uninviting. What truly differentiates Overlake’s digital strategy is its refusal to lead with statistics. While most schools lead with “100% college acceptance” or “8:1 student-teacher ratios,” Overlake foregrounds the human experience. Through faculty voices and student-led project showcases, the site invites prospective families into a story rather than a spreadsheet. This “narrative-first” architecture transforms the act of browsing from a chore into an exploration of the school’s culture. The success of the Overlake School platform proves that educational branding doesn’t have to be generic. By investing in the right font pairings and a structured, intuitive UX, the school does more than provide information, it builds trust. It is a reminder that in the competitive landscape of private education, a website’s primary job is to make a family feel like they belong before they even step foot on campus. ### eCommerce Website Design Nominee 2026: Paul Fredrick Featured by Awwwards Paul Fredrick’s journey from two-inch Wall Street Journal classifieds in 1986 to a modern eCommerce powerhouse is a blueprint for heritage brand survival. While many legacy clothiers struggled to transition away from the catalog era, Paul Fredrick’s recent shift to a high-performance Shopify Plus architecture recognized by Awwwards for its design excellence proves that “traditional” doesn’t have to mean “outdated. --- # 25 Web Design Tutorials and Courses for Beginners to Expert Developers in 2024 URL: https://www.spinxdigital.com/blog/12-web-design-tutorials-in-2020 Meta description: If you’re just starting a career as a web designer or simply looking to augment your skillset with new methodologies, check out some of the best web design tutorials and courses to try in 2024. ## Page Content Great blog. Startups are endlessly told to stay lean, which many interpret to mean “do all your design in-house.” The desire to keep expenses low is admirable, but when applied to a startup’s website, it can be fatal. Web design is of the utmost important, but is often treated as an afterthought. / Image courtesy Muhammad Rafizeldi Most startups understand that a strategic plan is an absolute necessity, but often this plan involves doing everything at once. Unfortunately, this means that cutting-edge web design may get assigned equal importance with everything else, when it can be the most important aspect of your business. Fortunately, a digital agency can make your startup’s web design its top priority. Your startup is like a living organism—it needs to receive fuel as well as expend energy in order to grow. And like organisms, startups have life-cycles. There are distinct stages in which growth happens, and these points require additional energy. If a startup wants to be part of the 25% of startups that succeed, it needs to devote resources where they’re needed at appropriate stages of growth. Optimal web design is not something ancillary, but a distinct stage of growth that requires time and resources. Why Design Matters Your company’s website is the first place of interaction with prospective customers, and there are high bars to clear for successful conversion. When a first-time visitor is on a new website, the adage “you only have one chance to make a first impression” is pumped-up on steroids. The numbers are scary: 40% of visitors will leave a page that takes more than three seconds to load, and half will form a negative impression of a company after a single negative experience on their website. These figures are from 2009, before the mobile revolution and new developments in responsive web design, so if anything, the numbers have only increased. A study estimated that website issues accounted for US $1 billion in lost business in 2012. A lean startup is good, but if there’s one place a startup needs a digital agency, it’s for web design. In-House vs. Digital Agency Certain aspects of operating a startup can’t be contracted out. If it’s your startup, you have to do your own networking in the funding environment you chose. When you interview prospective hires, you spare no means to find people with the best match of ability and personality. If you have to, you can solicit a recruiter or a talent agency—in fact, tech is currently experiencing a boom in industry-specific talent agencies. A startup doesn’t need to be told twice about the importance of hiring qualified people. However, when it comes to optimal web design, a startup may fail to see the importance of this stage. In the startup life cycle, there is a beginning stage of discovery that provides the foundation for success. During this period, a startup is figuring out basic questions, selecting its team, and looking for financing. In the next stages, a startup is finding and retaining customers. At this point, there isn’t much room for error—customers expect lightning-fast loading times, responsive web design, and visual appeal whether they’re visiting the web page of a startup or a world-class retailer. Every startup is conscious of ROI, and customers cite “web-influences” as responsible for over a trillion dollars in business. The Benefits of Hiring a Digital Agency While the importance of web design may seem clear, you might still have a doubt on whether you should invest in UX for startups. According to Toptal, 88% of users are less likely to return to a site after a bad user experience. Even if you have a functional website, if it’s not optimized for user-friendliness, you may find it difficult to engage and retain the website visitors. 1. Always Be on the Cutting Edge However, web design is always changing, subject to new trends and technological innovation like everything else. Your site may have incorporated the latest features when it was first designed, but is it keeping up with the trends? A company whose website looked cutting-edge yesterday may find their pages relatively unresponsive today. 2. Look Great on Mobile This scenario sounds extreme, but with the explosion in mobile usage, many companies have found themselves in this very situation. Mobile usage is going to match desktop usage in 2014, and this percentage will only increase. Companies who were not on top of the latest trends in web design lost that business, while those who anticipated industry shifts reaped the rewards Companies have to stay on top of the latest trends. Those who anticipate responsive design have reaped the rewards. Luc Legay / Flickr / Luc Legay 3. Grab Trends by the Horns Beyond the mobile revolution, there are numerous innovations and trends in web design that your startup has to keep in mind. It’s a lot to keep track of to attract, captivate, and convert prospective customers. Fortunately, an outside digital agency is focused on staying atop the latest trends in web design. While your startup has to balance its web presence with all the other aspects of its operation, this is the sole focus of a digital agency. In fact, there are dozens of jobs which a startup can hire from outside, and a good digital agency can fulfill many of these. Final Thoughts A startup has a lot to keep track of, so it’s often hard to know what to prioritize. Consequently, web design often becomes merely one more aspect of operations that can fall by the wayside. A startup’s webpage, though, is its most important public face. A startup needs a digital agency for web design because a good digital agency is solely focused on creating the kind of design and compatibility that creates leads and conversions. We know how to get your site looking as good as it could. Ask yourself if your website is on top of the latest design trends, and make the best web design a priority for your startup. #### Get reliable updates right in your inbox Get expert insights, website design tips, and exclusive updates on the latest web development trends. ### Newsletter Popup ##### Stephen Moyers Stephen Moyers has over a decade of experience as a technology consultant and web marketing manager. Social media has opened new avenues for brands to engage with their online community through interactive games on the apps. For instance, many brands leverage Instagram filters to create games for their audiences to participate in, thus building a higher reach. There are many companies who now have a gamified assessment as part of their initial rounds of selection to gauge how the person would do in a real life situation at that organization. The games are simulated in such a manner that they provide the player with a close to real life experience that they would have to go through at the work place and gauge the decisions they make in real time. Amazon is one of the companies that has this gamified assessment as part of its selection process when hiring new candidates. In 2021, Cadbury had built its Easter Campaign focusing on a Virtual Egg Hunt. The users had to purchase a Cadbury egg and could hide it on the virtual map with clues, for their loved ones. The seeker used those clues to find their egg. Cadbury then delivered the real egg to the seeker. It was a fun way to bring people together virtually and the audience participation in the campaign showed their interest towards AR gaming. The success of the campaign has opened the possibility of brands to use AR further in their campaigns. ### Gaming In the Metaverse For an industry that is constantly updating with newer technologies, what will it look like in The Metaverse? SPINX, a Los Angeles digital marketing agency, reveals misconceptions about social, and offers tips for success. ## Page Content ###### INSIGHT ## Avoid These Social Media Misconceptions at All Costs - 1 There are only 3 worthwhile social networks for businesses - 2 Social media isn’t for direct sales - 3 Forget marketing to seniors; they don’t use social media - 4 Social media campaigns always work - 5 Only some industries are social - 6 Calculating ROI in social media is impossible - 7 Social media is for company channels only We all assume that just about everyone uses social media, but the actual statistics are staggering. According to recent research, 74% of internet users participate in social media in one way or another. In other words, if your business isn’t social, you’re missing out on a huge opportunity to reach your audience. But before you start creating a marketing plan, use caution. While there are no hard and fast rules that work for everyone across the board, certain misconceptions about social media can undermine your efforts. Here are some myths that every marketer should avoid, no matter your industry. It is only once you dispel these myths that you should approach digital marketing agencies with your social media requirements. (And for a complete social media marketing plan for your business, contact SPINX Digital today). When people only hear certain names being mentioned by Creative Agencies, they might believe the misconception that those names and platforms are the only social media platforms worth exploring. Facebook continues to dominate social media at 1.35 billion active monthly users; Twitter remains a go-to for a brands’ customer service channel; LinkedIn is a popular platform for professionals looking to network. However, other social networks are ideal for different kinds of opportunities. Pinterest, for example, is great for any e-commerce operation, as it relies almost exclusively on visual content. In fact, you can get some of the best ideas for your website redesign from this platform itself. You can post alluring, dynamic images of your products, network with similar companies, and build an audience. Unlikely industries are also succeeding on Pinterest, such as Healthcare, Engineering, Politics, and more. Meanwhile, Google Plus allows for more text in a post than other networks, which could benefit an info-based B2B brand; Instagram is ideal for sharing pictures of people, products, and ads; and if you’re using video, you need YouTube. You can take the names and ideas from all these different social media platforms when you approach Website design companies for your needs. It will really help your brand stand out and break the clutter. Branding Companies will tell you that this myth is really holding you back from making the most of the resources at your disposal. While social media is a powerful tool for directly engaging with your customers and fans, it can also generate sales. Dell famously made 3 million dollars from a promotion on Twitter. With a carefully measured, promotion-focused strategy, any company can improve its bottom line through social media. But stand-alone sales aren’t the only way social media can help. Many brands use them to build relationships with their audience, which in turn creates customers in the long run. Check out this graph from HubSpot to see the sales potential for different platforms (including a company blog). Once you go through the statistics, you are sure to employ the services of enterprise cms solutions to make the most of your content online. Seniors are stereotypically regarded as incompetent when it comes to technology. We presume that they’re too old to understand the internet, let alone able to operate a social media account. However, these assumptions conflict with facts. Reportedly, as of 2013, 43% of Americans over 65 use at least one social media site. That number actually marks a 17% increase from the previous year. If your business caters to an older crowd, make sure you include it in your social media strategy. Like everyone else, this demographic wants to feel included. When used strategically, social media marketing campaigns can create audiences, build relationships, and increase sales. But not all campaigns succeed. One thing many digital marketers forget is that people don’t go online for advertising. In fact, according to one study, 62% of people surveyed said that social media didn’t influence their buying decisions. For me, the big takeaway here is that social media shouldn’t be used as a sales pitch. Certain brands may have success with different platforms’ promoted posts, and one-off promotions can work, but the key to success is cultivating trust and interest among your followers. If they’re compelled by your brand, they’ll likely become customers. The good thing in today’s times is that you have a number of ways in which you can compel your audience and end consumers. There are innumerable website redesign services that can make your entire brand story captivate the interest of your audience the minute they go online. One of the best ways to make this happen is to implement the best web design los angeles so your viewers find it tough to leave your site once they are there. Some brands translate more naturally to social media. If you’re a B2C with an exciting consumer product that’s inherently photogenic and can be easily promoted, your campaign creates itself. However, it’s a mistake to assume that a B2B with a technical product or abstract service can’t gain attention or even go viral. (E-commerce security company, VeriSign’s “Cart Whisperer” viral campaign) With a little creativity, brands like IBM, Cisco, and VeriSign all cultivated an entertaining and compelling social media presence. The formula for their success wasn’t rocket science. They simply started by addressing their audience’s core questions and challenges and proceeded from there. One good way to measure what your audience is looking for is to work with SEO Companies. They will provide you with invaluable insights about the things your end customer is looking for and will help you attract these very customers in the end. True, there is no magical “Calculate ROI” button for social media marketers. However, anyone can determine the return on investment as long as specific metrics are set before the campaign begins. Whether you’re measuring the performance of certain posts, landing pages, views, or even purchases, you need to establish your goals, what assets you’re going to create to achieve them, and measurement tools such as Google Analytics. With the right metrics in place, you can track and adjust your campaigns for maximum success. Social media is an excellent platform for brand storytelling. In other words, by sharing the personality of your business, you increase your chances of connecting with your audience. Don’t just share company facts or industry trends. People respond to other people more than a brand name. Enlist your employees to use social media, and encourage them to offer up a mix of industry and unrelated topics. They don’t have to share every detail about their lives, but a little personality can endear a user to your company. SPINX Digital is happy to announce that our work with law firm, Quinn Emanuel has earned multiple Best-in-Class awards in web design from the Interactive Media Awards (IMA) committee. Nabbing top honors in both the ‘Legal’ and ‘Professional Services’ categories, the judges for the IMA awarded us an overall score of 496 out of a possible 500 points. The competition was run by the Interactive Media Council (IMC), a nonprofit whose mission is to raise the standards of excellence on the Internet. Its members hail from such distinguished companies as American Express, CNNMoney.com, Microsoft, Ogilvy & Mather, and more. The SPINX team was very excited to hear the news. President and CEO, Sukesh Jakharia reacted, “We are elated to have been honored with such prestigious awards – especially among so many other wonderful websites in the categories. Looking back, I can say with confidence that all the hours our team devoted to executing Quinn Emanuel’s vision were worth it.” Additionally, SPINX has been notified that Quinn Emanuel’s site is now nominated for the IMA’s Website of The Year for 2014. The winner will be announced in April. ### What They’re Saying The IMC is comprised of industry-leading web designers, developers, programmers, and other internet-related professionals. Of the work, the judges had the following to say: “Elegant and engaging visual design. Rich, easy-to-absorb content. Brilliant use of various web technologies. All components of this site come together beautifully and offer visitors an impressive and satisfying user experience. The stature, prestige, and professionalism of Quinn Emanuel are very well represented by this website.” “I’ve reviewed around 100 legal sites in 2013 and 2014. This site is definitely in the top five for best overall. Just amazing work. I can tell an enormous amount of planning, development, and effort went into it.“ “Well-crafted. All fronts. Easy Best In Class.” ### The work Creating a website for Quinn Emanuel posed a unique challenge. With a workforce of over 700 attorneys specializing in 30 areas of law and dispersed through 9 countries, the law firm needed a website that communicated a vast amount of information without overwhelming the user. In an industry that is as specific and to the point as law, this was no easy task. The website redesign needed to be crisp, and to the point and also make sure that every single piece of information that was present on the site was factually correct. Quinn Emanuel partner, A. William Urquhart stated, “We wanted a website that was different from other law firms but delivered our message in a way that sophisticated purchasers of legal services would like. SPINX delivered.” As a solution, we focused on on-site navigation. By building separate category pages that all clearly interlink, users could easily find their desired topic, whether it was a particular attorney, area of law, or company location. This use of website redesign services was able to keep the interests of both the company as well as the customer at the top of the mind. All that was needed was the clever use of web development languages from the back end that would make the interactivity on the front end as seamless as possible. The result was an elegant and creative website design that catered to user experience. If you too are looking for digital marketing agencies to answer your brand’s needs that seem impossible to solve at the moment, all you need to do is contact us. With the expertise of the best professionals who have worked at the top SEO agencies, with the best UI and UX, and with the knowledge that is traditionally only possessed by the best of the best branding agencies, we can look after all of your digital marketing needs. #### Get reliable updates right in your inbox Get expert insights, website design tips, and exclusive updates on the latest web development trends. ### Newsletter Popup ##### Stephen Moyers Stephen Moyers has over a decade of experience as a technology consultant and web marketing manager. As the internet evolves, so do websites and the way designers create them. One of the main factors that drive web design practices is how users access and explore the internet. Since the rise of mobile technology, web design has become more about being user-friendly and responsive and less about flashy parlor tricks. As a brand looking to make a name for itself online, you need to be aware of these trends before you go and avail website redesign services available in the market. These are some of the best web design practices that emerged in 2019 and will continue to shape the internet’s landscape. #### Responsive Design Responsive web design is all the rage right now – for good reason. Mobile internet users surpassed desktop users in 2014, and the numbers are climbing. Responsive design makes websites beautiful on mobile and static screens. Responsive design optimizes reading and navigation to display accurately on screens of all sizes. There’s nothing more annoying than an article that won’t scale down to fit your phone, and responsive design solves this issue. If you’re not using responsive design to create your website, you won’t reach nearly as many customers. You even risk losing existing ones. You need to ensure that the best web development languages are being used so that your website can be responsive and can cater to your customers ever changing needs. Image: Blue Infinity #### Emphasis on Usability There’s a huge focus on user experience this year. Businesses are doing more to cater to their audiences, and that’s important. Consumers drive the economy and the success of businesses, so why shouldn’t you cater your site to their needs? Your website should be easy and intuitive to navigate. A visitor should be able to learn about your brand immediately without having to dig around for answers. There’s simply far too much competition to ask consumers for their patience. If they can’t find what they’re looking for right away, they’re going to move on. Make sure to work with the best enterprise CMS solutions to increase your customers ease of finding relevant content when they land on your website. In can make the world of difference when it comes to attracting and retaining the correct customer for your brand. Image Source: DesignerMag #### Optimizing for Touch The trend of designing websites for touch goes hand in hand with the user experience. Because most internet users are exploring the web on mobile devices, most of them will be clicking with their thumbs, not a mouse. That means buttons should be big enough to accommodate a human finger. Menus and other touchable elements should also be designed so they don’t overlap other items on the page or mistakenly trigger the wrong window. Forms That Aren’t a Hassle Speaking of forms, information request windows are finally going on the diet they’ve long needed. Consumers hate filling out long-winded forms, especially when they’re trying to do it on a mobile device. Designers are making forms as minimal as possible with clean typefaces, auto-fill capability, and other optimizations. Forms should be as easy as possible to fill out; you’re asking your visitors for valuable information, so don’t make it a chore for them. The industry is evolving with the changing needs of the customers, you need to make sure that your website redesign reflects this change as well by condensing the length of the forms. Likewise, designers are focusing more on aesthetics that strengthen the user experience. While interface and navigability provide the foundation for a user-friendly site, the visual aspects of a site are what guide a user through it. Creative agencies will tell you that Grid and card patterns, big/bold background images, and an emphasis on typeface are a few layouts trending this year. These elements convey brand personality while bolstering intuitive navigation. A visitor won’t want to explore a website, no matter how easy it is to use unless it looks good and flows with the navigation. Branding companies will help you identify not only the trends that are in fashion right now but also the trends that are going to make a mark in the industry for years to come. In any industry, when you talk about best practices, you have to mention the worst ones. There are several web design trends that have been phasing out during the past few years. Web designers are cutting these practices from the list of tricks because they’re either too clunky, too ugly, too annoying, or some combination of the three. While it is important to know what to do when undergoing website redesign, it is just as important to know what not to do. It will help you when you work with Website design companies for your the needs of your brand. No one likes clickbait. It’s dishonest and it’s a low blow. Plus, the internet is inundated with ridiculous headlines. They’re meant to draw visitors to a particular website, and they used to work. But web users have fallen for the trick for too long, and now it’s old news. Consumers want honesty and high-quality information, and search engines prove it. Top SEO companies will tell you that the bounce rate is extremely high when you content does not match what was promised in the headline. When content is subpar, your website will suffer. To present your content in the best possible way, you can look at working with a drupal development company. #### Flash Videos Flash videos are quickly (finally) disappearing from the internet. Flash players eat up a user’s computer memory. If his or her computer isn’t updated, Flash won’t load at all. No consumer is going to take time to update a Flash player just to watch your intro video. Plus, these videos don’t work on mobile devices. So get rid of anything Flash. There are much better ways to animate your website. #### Obnoxious CTAs Calls to action are important for converting site visitors into leads. But CTAs that pop up and block other content can have the opposite effect and make users want to run for the hills. Digital marketing agencies will tell you that this is one of the biggest no-nos for your brand. Avoid using overlays and pop-ups for things like forms, surveys, and e-mail signups. When visitors come to your site, they want to learn about your brand before committing. They’re stopping by your site for the content that attracted them, so don’t interrupt them with an annoying pop-up. A CTA form should be intuitive, and it should be placed in the content naturally. For example, halfway through or at the end of a page. Visitors shouldn’t be bombarded the moment they get to your site. If you must use a pop-up, place it strategically, and set it to only show up once. Although trends in web design will always be evolving, the end goal of optimum user experience will never waver. Websites should always be built with consumers in mind, making their exploration of a site engaging, easy, and overall pleasant experience. If you find a company that focuses on the customer when delivering your web design Los Angeles, you can rest assured that your brand and its website are in extremely good hands. #### Get reliable updates right in your inbox Get expert insights, website design tips, and exclusive updates on the latest web development trends. ### Newsletter Popup ##### Stephen Moyers Stephen Moyers has over a decade of experience as a technology consultant and web marketing manager. Now you can kick back, relax, and enjoy steady site traffic, right? Wrong. Optimizing your content is an integral cog in the equation for website success, but it’s unfortunately not the only factor. You need to maximize your content’s visibility and introduce the world to the content you’ve worked so hard on. There’s no magic button to make your content go viral, but there are tried-and-true techniques that can go a long way toward achieving your goal of having your content seen. From working with SEO companies to finding the best content management system for your needs, the reality is that you have a long way to go. Content marketing and content promotion are two entirely separate ideas, and you need to be aware of both. Marketing experts have established the importance of content marketing in growing your business, but content promotion is often pushed under the rug. It’s referred to often in business, but no one really explains how it’s done. Branding companies will tell you that the one thing that impacts the end customer the most is the content they are going to be consuming. If that does not appeal to them, not much else will matter. Content promotion describes a company’s effort to push its content to relevant areas for business, such as social media platforms, Apple podcasts, or submit guest posts for other sites. When making your list of these platforms, don’t limit yourself – include every form of social media, as well as lesser-known platforms such as Periscope or Medium. The first step in promoting your content is to develop a smart distribution model. You need to pinpoint your target market audience and actively generate leads and sales using email distribution lists, sharing content on social channels, and paid advertisements. Understanding your audience is the critical step here – otherwise, you’ll waste your time marketing to a crowd that doesn’t exist on that platform. ### Put Your Best Foot Forward You also need to ensure your content is primed and ready for promotion. This may sound obvious, but overlooking the preparedness of your content to hit the masses could mean you sabotage your shot at widespread user engagement. Understand your own brand, and optimize your content to be attractive to your direct audience. Enterprise cms solutions will help you in this regard by helping your content reach the right audience at the right time. For example, if your site is content-heavy, you need to take into consideration how much your platform will contain (include images and videos in your estimate, as well). This will help you map out where each piece of information should be located on your layout, and set your site up for the greatest amount of engagement. Once this is mapped out in your head, you need to put it into action with the help of website redesign. Website design companies will tell you to Weigh the pros and cons of different layout and menu options available and opt for responsive web design instead of static. Consider using a dropdown menu, which can be a great way to conserve space and clean up the layout without having to lose any content. It is a form of web design los angeles that is being incorporated by most of the major brands across the world today. Categorize your content to situate the most important pieces at the top and bottom of the dropdown list, as this is where a user’s eye goes first. You also need to use web development languages that will ensure the user is not facing any inconvenience when browsing the site. This, too, eventually impacts the manner in which your content is consumed. ### Graduate into the Big Times Once you’ve pushed your content across different platforms, it’s time to enter the arena with bigger publications. Using popular brands to boost awareness of your own is a great way to reach a pre-established niche of your target audience. The Young Entrepreneur’s Council is your ticket to getting onto widely seen sites, such as Forbes or Huffington Post. They’ll take care of the hard work for you – all you have to do is submit your content. Using the services of a Drupal development company can also help your site and its content by ranking it highly on Google. You can also build your own publication list based on the sites you want your content to appear on. Once you understand your target market, you can figure out which sites it makes sense for you to appear on and go from there. Find out where your audience’s online hangout is and fill that space with your brand. Creative agencies tend to have invaluable insights about customers and where they like spending their time. Partner up with them to get your hands on the same insights that they possess. Wherever your brand can bring the most value is where you need to insert yourself. For example, if you’re an expert on product photography, market your skills to a crowd that needs your help the most. Create podcasts and “How-To” blogs that establish your expertise in the field, and the hits will come organically. Find publication editors by investigating the site you’re interested in. Find their “About Me” and you’ll probably be able to gather some contact information for the team member you want to talk to, such as the managing editor or publicist. You can also track them on LinkedIn or use a tool like Email Hunter to find their address. Have your pitches ready, and show them you mean business with stellar titles and unique ideas. ### Track Your Promotion Digital marketing agencies will tell you that the only way to discover your return on investment (ROI) while promoting your content is to document your successes and failures. What gets measured gets managed. Ensure your efforts are worthwhile by tracking the number of shares from your promotion attempts, the number of outreaches, and your conversion rates. If you’re having trouble finding your audience’s online community, you can do a simple Google search such as “[Your Niche] community” and see what comes up. Remember that all communities have different styles and rules – don’t overstay your welcome or turn the audience against you by ignoring the atmosphere of the community. For example, Reddit is notorious for being tough on its contributors. Tread lightly and stay on top of your content promotion efforts to avoid potential damage to your brand’s image. ### Build Relationships It’s not always enough to post your content onto a larger brand’s website and hope for the best. Cultivating real relationships with brands can help your own rate of success. Bouncing your ideas off of brands that have been there and done that can help you avoid wasting time and money on a doomed venture. It can also open your brand up to new ideas and platforms you may not have thought of on your own. Building a relationship with influential people in your niche can also provide you with worthwhile connections and situate your brand on the path to the most success. Gathering clients and reaching out to influential companies isn’t always possible without a friend on the other side or someone who can vouch for your company among the industry leaders. Become familiar with the top brands in your area of work, and see how they can help you. ### Follow Up Once you’ve promoted your content far and wide among your target audience, feel free to continue repurposing content you’ve already worked hard to optimize. You don’t have to crank out new content consistently, at least not in the beginning. The trick is to come up with really solid, gripping content, and then use it to gather attention. Then, once your brand’s awareness has gained some footing, establish yourself as a consistent source of new information, and focus on your content output. Until then, re-purposing content can refresh your brand and bring it back to the top of search lists, instead of it disappearing into the archives. Look through your analytics and pull your top-performing posts out. Re-post them exactly or convert the same content into a different form, such as a video or podcast. Insert newer infographics, and keep the information up to date. This is where website redesign services are going to come into the picture. With design and infographics supporting it, your content can look as good as new to the untrained eye. Growth is never done when it comes to promoting your business. There are always new ways to boost engagement and spread your brand, as long as you know what to look for. #### Get reliable updates right in your inbox Get expert insights, website design tips, and exclusive updates on the latest web development trends. ### Newsletter Popup ##### Stephen Moyers Stephen Moyers has over a decade of experience as a technology consultant and web marketing manager. While live content offers many bonuses and can heighten a brand’s popularity significantly, it can also become potentially costly for both finances and reputations. Live video marketing is a classic example of great rewards coming at great risk. Following in the footsteps of 2018 & 2019’s video marketing trends, live video marketing has become a powerful boon – and bane – for marketers. It is what the best digital marketing agencies around the world are talking about these days. Users crave instant, live content, and several social media sites have risen to the challenge of providing it. Tiktok, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, and YouTube have all cited amazing influxes of users to their live content, but they haven’t done so without discovering the darker side of live sharing. ### TikTok is App of the Year in 2018 which also surpassed Instagram. Here are some of the pros and cons you can use to decide if live video marketing is the right strategy for you. #### It’s More Personal Live video streaming allows brands to connect with customers on a personal level. The sense of exclusivity that live content offers strengthens the bond between brand and consumer while affording a sense of transparency to the company. Though new to Facebook, live streaming itself has had some time to develop – from Periscope to Vine, live video can personalize the business-consumer relationship. #### Ask and Receive It’s also a great opportunity to solicit feedback directly from consumers, if the platform you’re using allows for interactive commenting. Ask users what they want in real time and get their answers back the same way. #### Inexpensive Implementation If you’re already using video content as part of your marketing strategy, making the transition to live marketing doesn’t have to be costly to implement. It becomes even easier if you already have the enterprise cms solutions to support such video needs on your platform. The materials and tools required are the same. All you need to produce live content is a good quality camera that can record in high definition and an internet connection that can support that high quality. #### Authentic Education Holding live events, like customer question and answer sessions, or live tutorials, is a great way to increase brand loyalty and customer engagement. It’s also an excellent way to showcase your product, whether that product is information, merchandise, or expertise. #### Build Community After a while, you’re liable to start seeing the same screen names and users in your sessions. Encourage and allow your users to interact with one another to build a stronger sense of community in your consumer base. The more they interact and identify with each other, the more they’ll start identifying with you. #### Human Touch And finally, rounding out the list of pros is the uniquely human quality that live video marketing can afford your operation. It allows your brand to have conversations with your users and let them take part in the brand narrative. When your users feel as if they have ownership in the shape of the brand, they engage with it on a personal level. When that happens, your conversations turn into conversions. #### No Real Control If something goes wrong during a live video session – whether it’s technical or human error – there’s no undo button or editing magic to take care of it. The human aspect of live marketing is a double-edged sword for brands – while it makes you more relatable, it also increases your chance of error. Fortunately, good grace and a sense of humor can often overcome smaller errors. #### They’ll Notice Everything If your presenter, project manager, or staff involved in the live product aren’t fully prepared, users will notice. While your customer base is free to use your time at their leisure (they paid, or will pay, for that privilege), the luxury is not mutual. If your project appears unprepared, users may feel that you’ve wasted their time, and that perception can be nearly impossible to recover from. #### You Could Miss Someone Specifically, you could potentially miss your target audience. This is another case of a double-edged sword: the boon that exclusivity offers may also be the bane. You could consider adding multiple live sessions to a given day to increase your exposure chances, but that may require time and money you can ill afford to spare. #### You’re at Someone Else’s Mercy Whether it’s your ISP or your customer’s ISP, you have two major hurdles to a live feed and you’re (usually) incapable of doing anything about them. If either side falls short, your user may receive a low quality or overburdened feed which detracts from, rather than adds to, the perception of your brand. Outside of costly upgrades to your own internet arrangement, there’s no way for you to contend with this factor except to hope for the best. #### Recommendations for Live Streaming If you’ve decided that the pros outweigh the cons, there are some steps you can take to limit the potential for live snafus. - Plan and prepare without scripting. The biggest draw of live video marketing is the interactive, human factor, so don’t create such a rigid program structure that it loses its humanity. - Get comfortable improvising. If the seminar you scheduled is supposed to be about troubleshooting but your audience wants to talk about a new release, let them. It’s more important to provide your audience what they want than it is to stick to your plan. - Incorporate users as part of your brand narrative. Make your followers and audience central characters in your brand’s story – not extras wandering around a set. The best way that you can do this seamlessly is by working alongside Creative agencies that have vast experience integrating audience insights to improve the brand story. - If you notice the same faces or usernames supporting your brand through several live sessions, reward them by returning the support. Even a small show live, spontaneous recognition can have a big impact on the audience’s perceptions. When they see you rewarding loyalty, they’ll be inspired to be more loyal. It’s a positive perpetuation cycle. - Accept that you will occasionally be stranded in the proverbial desert without any real answers. It’s better to offer a sincere, “I’m not sure, but I’ll find out and get back to you …” than it is to try to sell them an answer which has no conviction. Remember, authenticity is an asset in live recording, not a liability. - Consider recording your live sessions and uploading them somewhere that other users can easily reach. But don’t edit them aside from what’s necessary. Users will appreciate your authenticity and willingness to display your mistakes, while they’ll distrust your attempts to erase them from the record. - Offer multiple quality levels. This will be determined more by the platform you use for streaming than anything else, but make sure that your live feeds can be watched in the highest quality or the lowest quality. Not only will this allow more mobile users to tune in without data burning, but it also accommodates tablet users or users with limited bandwidth. - And finally, engage back. If you ask your users what they want, you need to listen and act on their answers. Live lip service won’t incur any more benefits than delayed lip service would. You can’t expect your users to engage more with your brand if your brand isn’t responding in kind. Now that you have all these points in mind, there are a final few things that you need to do. The first is to decide who is going to go live. Do a few dry runs with them. The second thing is to ensure that your web design Los Angeles supports the live-streaming feature. The third thing you need to do is set your camera settings to ensure the audio and video are fine. Then, you shoot. #### Get reliable updates right in your inbox Get expert insights, website design tips, and exclusive updates on the latest web development trends. ### Newsletter Popup ##### Stephen Moyers Stephen Moyers has over a decade of experience as a technology consultant and web marketing manager. In a world that is run by technology, where digital marketing agencies are growing in numbers every day and customers can talk to brands with a click of a button, it is only natural for you to consider the idea of entering the digital space. You have a fantastic plan for a digital startup, but do you have the skills to make it work? A solid business plan is a must, but that won’t get your company off the ground if you don’t have the hard talent that the digital marketplace requires. As more and more graduates turn to virtual work, the competition is becoming fierce. You can’t get by with an idea and good work ethic if your skill set is lacking or even slightly out of date. If you want to be seen, if you want to survive, you need to be an expert in at least three areas: social media marketing, data analysis, and programming. If that sounds like a tall order, don’t worry. There are countless resources on the web to help you beef up your abilities and learn new skills from scratch. To make it even easier, we’ve compiled a short list of the top (free) places to learn online. ### Marketing Marketing is a completely different animal than it was 15 years ago. Gone are the days of drawing up an attractive ad and sending it off to the newspaper, billboard, or Yellow Pages. Today your value as a marketer is based on an understanding of search engine optimization, social media, and data analysis. It is based on the connections and working relations you have with Top SEO Companies, media companies, and data-centric organizations. You have to stay ahead of search algorithm updates, have the best branding agencies by your side, and be familiar with the latest platforms before the rest of the world catches on. In some ways, marketing is like the mythical Hydra; every time you think you’ve got one head under control, two more appear. However, a large part of marketing and SEO boils down to relevant content. In fact, most search engine updates are designed to weed out negative material and connect readers with pertinent information. Thus, if you focus on your audience’s pain points and how you can honestly satisfy them, your strategy will have plenty of longevity. Image: Marketing Charts Companies are allocating more money toward digital marketing – and with good reason. They realize that the survival of their businesses depends on it. If people don’t see your products or services, customers will never arrive. This is where the main work and challenges of many creative agencies are arising these days- visibility. Picture yourself in a crowded (physical) marketplace. Your product is helpful, affordable, and aesthetically superior to anyone else’s, but no one can hear you. At the end of the day, you go home with empty pockets. That’s your business without any digital marketing. Now imagine you’ve decided to stand in front of your stall, shouting to passersby about how amazing your product is, but even though you’re actively trying to get people to look, your voice doesn’t carry far enough. That’s your business without good digital marketing. Or imagine that you’ve finally got the crowd’s attention, but when you start to explain your product, people smile and start to laugh. You overhear some say they had no idea folks were still making those. That’s your product with outdated digital marketing. If you want to stand out in this melee of advertising, you’ll need to have a good product, hire the best marketing and Web design companies, promote it, get attention, and stay ahead of the curve. Visualize telling a prospective investor or client that your company isn’t on Twitter or Facebook. You might as well boast that it has a Myspace profile. You may not realize it, but that’s how outdated your operation may appear when someone asks you if the next new social app might be good for business and you haven’t even heard about it. All of this may seem intimidating, but it’s not too difficult to keep up with if you have the right tools. To learn (or improve) marketing skills, try the free Udemy course or sign up for an eBook-based course from Copyblogger. ### Coding This skill isn’t required for many jobs outside of programmers, but if you want an edge, learn to code. In the same way “some Spanish” will help if you want to start a business in Mexico, even a basic understanding of coding will put you ahead in the digital market. In the same way, if you don’t speak the local language at all, you won’t have a real understanding of what’s going on in your company. You can tell others what you want to say, but they’ll have to translate for you, and you’ll have to trust that your message is getting out there. Every part of your connection to your clients is built on code. The web interface, from XHTML to CSS to Java to Perl, right down to the script that powers your shopping cart, it’s all been written by a programmer. Your tweets, video ads, and email campaigns all came from code. It’s fair to say your entire business, from beginning to end, is entirely dependent on these programs. See why it’s such a big deal? If you can write code, even a little, you’ll be speaking the language of modern business. You’ll understand what you can do and what you can push your programmers to do. And on the topic of hiring programmers – you’ll need to do that someday. Understanding the languages they use can help you connect and carry a conversation with these specialists. And wouldn’t you rather know what you’re looking for when you sit down for the interview? Ready to dive in? Code Academy and Study.com have comprehensive courses that can introduce you to programming concepts and languages. These are available for free. ### Data Analysis Computers and the web generate so much data that processing it is a full-time job. Even with all the programs we’ve come up with to organize it, there’s still a greater influx of raw information than most people can process. So much, in fact, that it’s difficult to interpret and decide what’s useful to your business. That’s why data analysis has become a specialty all its own. You may be wondering why you need to know this when there are plenty of other sources of pre-digested data available, or when you can hire a data analyst once your company grows. Fact: without a working understanding of this vital science, your business won’t grow. When your success or failure as a digital enterprise is based on clicks, keywords, and searches, you can’t afford to wait to hire a digital interpreter. You need to know who visits your site, how they got there, what they looked at, what they searched for, and – if they didn’t choose your services – whose products they preferred. Ignoring relevant data is like disregarding direct questions or comments from your customers. A few random visitors are going to send you an email to let you know how you’re doing. All the help you need is at your fingertips. Use it. Convinced? Try free courses from edx.org and Coursera.org. ### Where to Go From Here The thing about the digital marketplace that’s difficult for some people to understand is that it never sits still. The skills you need today are probably not the skills you’ll need five years from now. You need to constantly be updating your website redesign services to stay relevant to your customers and to the market at large. New apps and programs will come along, as well as new coding languages and interfaces. The single most important thing you can do to stay current is to keep learning. Keep learning about the latest trends, the most updated website redesign tools, and the visuals that will stay with your customers for a long time. There is always something new that is happening in the world of digital marketing. Jump on each new technology, asking the question, “What can this do for my customers?” Learn new tech like it’s your job – after all, it is. #### Get reliable updates right in your inbox Get expert insights, website design tips, and exclusive updates on the latest web development trends. ### Newsletter Popup ##### Stephen Moyers Stephen Moyers has over a decade of experience as a technology consultant and web marketing manager. Cosmetics is an industry that rakes in more than 100 billion dollars each year. Courtesy Shesarii Flickr Competing with industry giants like L’Oreal and Estée Lauder, countless smaller firms are actively playing the field. If you’re part of this group, you know you have to carve out your own space in a highly competitive market, and that a top-notch digital marketing campaign is key. This can only be ensured if you employ the services of the best digital marketing agencies available in the market. Your firm has to differentiate itself if it’s going to thrive, so focus on building a solid brand identity. Your brand identity needs to speak for itself, creating such a name for yourself that customers associate your brand with beauty. It is not an easy process getting there, which is why you need the company and support of branding agencies in this journey. They will help you become ‘the name’ in the beauty industry. To help revamp your firm’s marketing strategy, here are the top digital marketing mistakes to avoid in the beauty industry. ### Lacking a complete brand strategy Though it’s an industry giant, L’Oreal successfully keeps its brand identity consistent. L’Oreal is not only the biggest name in the beauty industry, it’s also one of highest-rated brands in the world. Brand Finance, a brand valuation firm, awarded L’Oreal a AAA+ rating in April 2014. L’Oreal’s appeal comes from a savvy combination of consumer marketing and brand management. Brand Finance chief executive David Haigh explains that, “with the perfectly constructed and enduring ‘you’re worth it’ slogan, L’Oréal has pulled off the trick of simultaneously capturing the mass market while maintaining an air of exclusivity.” Your cosmetics firm probably doesn’t have L’Oreal’s financial resources, but you can incorporate their strategy. Is your firm trying to do too much and thereby diluting its brand identity? Are you devoting resources where they’re going to waste? Industry experts explain that millions of dollars are being wasted in marketing anti-aging products to teens. A savvy digital agency would take into account that Millennials are least receptive to anti-aging pitches, but this mistake is widespread. A complete brand strategy like both protects your brand’s identity and devotes resources to the right places. ### Forgetting about men Today, a male pop superstar like PSY is as likely to start a beauty line as Lady Gaga or Katy Perry. Cosmetics are probably the most-gendered product segment on the market, but that’s changed drastically in the last few years. The stigma around male cosmetic use is mostly gone, and men see the benefits of beauty products, too. Today, men spend almost as much as women on cosmetics. They aren’t just buying shaving cream, either: men now spend more on toiletries than shaving products. This shift in spending is an important factor to incorporate into your marketing strategy, but it doesn’t need to change the game completely. A Bloomberg Businessweek report on male beauty product spending shows that while 70% of men age 18-24 use facial products, only 20% use male-only brands. This is good news, since it shows that men are receptive to products long-branded as feminine. Your company doesn’t need to disguise itself with a macho imprint. Cosmetic companies that don’t adjust to this shift are choosing to ignore an ever-growing market. What you need to do is hire the best creative agencies and put your best minds to work to ensure that this booming market does not remain untapped by you. ### Not connecting your digital platforms Old Spice’s viral marketing coup was as much a product of a unified digital marketing strategy as creative genius. Online marketing campaigns can make a decisive difference in the cosmetics world. For instance, Old Spice’s “the man your man could smell like” campaign singlehandedly transformed the company’s image. Brand Finance credits this campaign’s stratospheric success with changing Old Spice from a quaintly regarded also-ran into a highly desirable contemporary brand. The campaign wasn’t successful just because of its dazzlingly creative 30-second videos, starring the shirtless Isaiah Mustafa and the internet-friendly “I’m on a horse” catchphrase. The campaign was so successful because it connected digital platforms to engage potential customers in numerous ways. Not only did the traditional spots go viral, but “the Old Spice guy” made personalized videos for fans on YouTube, and interacted with bloggers on social media. By connecting digital platforms, Old Spice and marketing firm Wieden + Kennedy turned a viral campaign into a pop-culture phenomenon. Social media is also decisive in day-to-day consumer decion-making. A 2014 study by brand research firm Pixability found that YouTube vloggers far outweigh brand marketers in influence over brand perception. According to Google, half of all cosmetics customers consult YouTube to make purchasing decisions. Your brand can only hope to have a fraction of Old Spice’s online success, but YouTube and social media channels will determine whether a customer purchases your product or not. Your firm needs a seamless connection between its digital channels—think a YouTube channel, great Apps, and a robust social media presence to engage consumers. Lily Tse, a beauty marketing expert, points out that cosmetics is behind the curve when it comes to this sort of digital engagement. The industry’s challenge is to use social media to connect like-minded customers as much as to spread a message. Check out how incorporating apps, a web redesign by the best Web design companies and a social media campaign into a coherent digital marketing strategy can increase user engagement. Just like you would use all the tools at your disposal- blush, eyeshadow, lipstick, for putting the best look together, you need to use all the digital marketing tools that are available at your disposal as well. Hire the Top SEO Companies to reach out to your customers, both old and new. Use multi-channel marketing to ensure you find your customers at every touch point. Use the most advanced web development languages to make the customers digital interaction with you as pleasant as possible. All of these will help you ut the best possible look together, digitally! URL: https://www.spinxdigital.com/blog/is-ai-terminator-for-web-design-development Meta description: Will web designing be automated, rendered obsolete, or replaced by AI? In this article, we have discussed the future and application of web design. ## Page Content ###### INSIGHT ## Is AI The Terminator for Web Design & Development? - 1 Introduction - 2 How does AI work? - 3 What do Industry Professionals believe? - 4 Are Web Design Jobs Safe? - 5 Why do Many Companies Prefer AI? - 6 Conclusion AI operates by consuming a large number of data and diagnosing them to identify the trend and use this information to make projections. AI can do wonders for many reasons, but it sometimes backfires as google doesn't consider it a ranking factor. But, as of now, it is a major challenge for everyone, and companies must consider it in detail to ensure the future. ### Introduction Suppose you are a startup founder in Florida, United States, and want to build a good website for your brand. Your first search would be “Best Florida Web Design Companies.” Now amidst your research, you discovered that as a business, you can save a lot of time and money by letting AI do web design for you. Now you might be very confused about whether AI is to be trusted or whether you should hire the latest and greatest in web design. Which among AI or humans has traditionally been practicing web designing better? Let’s try to answer the most significant concern that most people in the IT world have: Will web designing be automated, rendered obsolete, or replaced by AI? Or will it be the end of web designers as we know them? In this article, we will discuss the future and application of web design. ### How does AI work? AI is a major success nowadays, and many companies are using its help to boost their business. AI is not linked with only one programming language but includes some popularly known languages such as Python and Java. Additionally, AI website builders are revolutionizing web development, enabling users to create professional websites effortlessly with minimal coding knowledge. Will robots take over the planet? Elon Musk claims that AI is “our most existential threat,” but is he correct? There are many different perspectives on the risk posed by AI. Some well-known people believe that artificial intelligence will someday take over, including the aforementioned Tesla CEO and the late celebrity physicist Stephen Hawking. On the other hand, many AI safety experts think that the direction in which research is going will result in releasing AI that is hazardous to humanity. Others contend that short-term worries about prejudice and discrimination in machines are the primary problem with AI development. On the other hand, most computer scientists and researchers who study machine learning are skeptical that it might spiral out of control. Due to computational constraints or the impossibility of superintelligent AI achieving consciousness, they think its arrival is extremely unlikely or even impossible. However, there is one topic area on which everyone can agree that the development of AI would have a profoundly disruptive effect. ### Are Web Design Jobs Safe? Most web designers know that the employment market will be seriously threatened by AI. 61.7% of respondents thought AI would likely result in significant job losses in the web designing sector. Additionally, 68.7% of those who think AI would lead to job losses (or 42.4% of all respondents) indicated that they “strongly agree” with the assertion. It was the only topic where an extreme opinion was more famous than the average one, and it acquired the highest score out of all the robust responses in the survey. Only 8.8% of people strongly disagree, 12.5% disagree, and 17% are neutral, demonstrating the tendency. (SOURCE: WAYBACK MACHINE) Web designers anticipate that AI will eventually replace people in their industry since they appear to be aware of the effects that AI has already had on other sectors of the economy. Since even AI risk doubters concur that it would alter the job sector, this result was largely anticipated. The straightforward explanation is that you may use these AI-based tools to build a website from scratch without knowing any coding or other technical skills. Wix is a perfect example since it has a drag and drop features that make constructing websites simple. It is also user-friendly and beginner-friendly, which is why more than 200 million people use it to create websites in 190 countries. However, web designing remains a viable profession and career path despite the introduction of several artificial intelligence tools and programs. Let us tell you why. Should Budding Web Designers Shift Careers? The short and simple response is no. Your work and career are safe because artificial intelligence cannot entirely mechanize web designing. However, before we can comprehend why web designing cannot be substituted, we must first understand why this question even needed to be asked in the first place. Many businesses, financial institutions, and governmental agencies need web designers and ethical hackers to strengthen their websites’ security so that they do not experience cyberattacks that compromise user data. If a company suffers a cyberattack, in addition to financial loss, the company also risks losing the trust of its customers. And especially if you are a front-end developer or web developer, web design is a career that calls for creativity, problem-solving abilities, and design skills. Requires knowledge of website design, user psychology, and the objectives of the company building the site. Web designing can and will give you a creative challenge if you love it. Because web design requires creativity, emotional intelligence, problem-solving skills, an understanding of human psychology, and other skills and attributes that only people possess and AI cannot, artificial intelligence cannot entirely replace humans. ### Conclusion Although AI may advance and eventually be able to design a much better website than a website designer, AI also lacks the ability to think creatively and independently, allowing humans to develop original website designs that AI cannot. Web designing is a complex process. We still feel that web designing as a job will flourish and grow and will not be replaced, become obsolete, or pass away in the future because of all these great reasons. So coming back to our initial conversation about your startup in Florida, United States, you should hire from the list of the best web developers in Florida for your brand’s digital queries and partner with them. However, it’s safe to suppose that the average web designer will not fear AI, even though he probably believes that the sector as a whole has to be on guard. #### Get reliable updates right in your inbox Get expert insights, website design tips, and exclusive updates on the latest web development trends. ### Newsletter Popup ##### Stephen Moyers Stephen Moyers has over a decade of experience as a technology consultant and web marketing manager. For B2B companies, where marketing budgets can be substantial and sales cycles lengthy, maximizing ROI isn’t just a goal—it’s a necessity. Why is this so critical? Proven B2B Online Marketing Strategies 3. Enhancing Your Strategy for Better ROI 4. Common Pitfalls and How to Avoid Them Let’s dive into how you can optimize your online marketing strategies to get the best possible return on your investment. #### Understanding B2B ROI Definition of ROI: ROI, or Return on Investment, measures how effectively your marketing spending translates into tangible results. In B2B marketing, it’s about determining whether each dollar spent is contributing to your bottom line. Key Metrics for Measuring ROI: To get a clear picture, track metrics like Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), which tells you how much you spend to gain a new customer, and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), which shows how much revenue a customer will generate over their relationship with your business. Additionally, conversion rates will reveal how well your efforts are turning prospects into paying clients. Content Marketing: High-quality, relevant content is crucial. Think whitepapers, case studies, and insightful blogs that address your audience’s needs. This kind of content not only engages but also drives ROI by establishing your authority and nurturing leads. Search Engine Optimization (SEO): SEO boosts your visibility and brings in organic traffic. Key tactics include keyword research to target the right terms and on-page SEO to ensure your content ranks well and attracts the right audience. Ready to improve your search rankings? Reach out to get expert SEO services! Paid Advertising: Paid ads, including PPC, display ads, and social media ads, can be highly effective. Optimize your ad spend by targeting specific audiences and adjusting campaigns based on performance data to get the most bang for your buck. Email Marketing: Build and segment your email lists to ensure your campaigns reach the right people. Craft compelling emails and track their success to continually refine your approach and improve ROI. Social Media Marketing: Platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook offer great opportunities for B2B engagement. Develop strategies to interact with your audience, share valuable content, and generate leads through targeted social media efforts. Account-Based Marketing (ABM): ABM focuses on high-value accounts with personalized marketing strategies. Implementing ABM means tailoring your approach to specific accounts to increase the likelihood of conversion and maximize ROI. Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics to guide your marketing strategy. Tools like Google Analytics can help track performance and make informed decisions to optimize your efforts. Continuous Optimization: Regularly review and refine your strategies. A/B testing different elements of your campaigns and making iterative improvements can significantly enhance effectiveness and ROI. Customer Feedback and Insights: Gather feedback from your customers to refine your strategies. Insights from existing clients can help you better understand their needs and adjust your marketing tactics for better results. Neglecting Data Analysis: Ignoring performance data can lead to missed opportunities. Make sure to track and analyze your metrics to stay on top of what’s working and what isn’t. Overlooking Target Audience Needs: Ensure your marketing strategies align with the pain points and needs of your target audience. Misalignment can lead to ineffective campaigns and wasted resources. Inconsistent Messaging: Consistency is key. Ensure your messaging is uniform across all channels to build trust and avoid confusing your audience. Ignoring New Trends and Technologies: Stay updated with emerging trends and tools. Adapting to new technologies can give you a competitive edge and help you maintain effective marketing strategies. Several women under 30 have made millions with their business ideas and budding startups – proving that age and gender no longer stand in the way for aspiring. ## Page Content ###### INSIGHT ## The Female Entrepreneur: Lone Wolves Leading the Pack 2017 is a promising time for young, female entrepreneurs. Women overcome obstacles and defy accepted odds every single day. It’s vital for us to inspire younger generations of women to succeed in their endeavors. Some recent statistics show us that women are growing increasingly more active in generating new organizations and new business models. Today, women are creating more companies than they ever have before. ### Recent Progress for Women in Business There are more than 9 million female-owned businesses in the U.S. today. Entrepreneur also reports that during the past 15 years, businesses owned by women have grown at a rate 1.5 times more than other small businesses. Entrepreneur estimates that these women-owned organizations will provide more than 5 million jobs by 2018. Unfortunately for women in past generations, the path to business ownership was never easy. The passing of the 1974 Equal Credit Act was the first major milestone toward women owning their own businesses. This act prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex or marital status in the granting of credit and made it possible for women to secure loans to start their own companies. In the 43 years since that law was passed, women have continued to grow their influence in various industries. USC’s Marshall School of Business reported that one in five businesses with annual revenue of more than $1 million are owned by a woman. Entrepreneur says that businesses with at least one female member of the executive team are more likely to receive higher estimates in their first round of fundraising. ### Outstanding Women in Business The same study from USC Marshall also reported that women lead only 30 percent of companies around the world. One of the best ways to encourage other women to start businesses is to highlight those who have already been successful. While dated ways of thinking about women have largely vanished in Western countries, it’s important to highlight the successes of women following their business dreams to show others the profound effects of following one’s dreams. Women innovate and change the business world in countless ways every day. Thanks to recent changes in long-held beliefs about women’s capabilities, new ventures spearheaded by strong women are popping up every day. Starting a new company isn’t exactly easy, especially considering how hyper-competitive modern business can be. In modern business, it is not only enough to have a unique product or service that will wow the market. You need to also make sure that the rest of the world knows about this, which is often achieved with help from digital marketing agencies. That is simply how business is done in the modern world where brands are clamouring for the customers attention. Here are 20 of some of the most inspiring female leaders in business right now. Answer Questions on Quora Once upon a time, businesses had one main place to advertise: the yellow pages in the phone book. Every house had one, and everyone knew where to go to find local businesses. Now there are literally thousands of places to look all across the internet. How can you drive your customers to land on your site instead of with the competition? With ad tracking pretty much on the horizon for gaining lead insights, the first thing that strikes our mind is PPC campaign. But there are 7 other smarter and cheaper ways to get more leads. #### Here’s a quick 7 smart ways to get more leads: 1. List Your Website on Google My Business, Bing, and Yahoo Local 2. List Your Website on Local Directories and in Local Search Engines 3. Get on Social Media Platforms 4. Create Valuable Content 5. Get Listed on Tech Review Sites 6. Invest in Google Ads and Social Media Paid Ads 7. Answer Questions on Quora Let’s lookout in brief. Four out of five consumers conduct research about local businesses through search engines, according to a research study by Google. That means when they research a product or service, they turn to their smartphones first. Smartphones let them research not only business listings but also reviews and recommendations from friends, family, and neighbors. If your business does not appear on the search engines, you are missing out on a huge piece of your potential audience. You need to enlist the services of Top SEO Companies so you can stay ahead of the game and ahead of your competition in the search engine rankings. It is very essential for you to be thorough. It’s important to include such basic details as your physical address, hours of operation, and contact information to help potential customers get in touch. Besides, you can use local rank checker tool to get accurate local rankings. Google My Business is certainly the most important of the three most popular search engines. Google is the highest-performing search engine and offers businesses a lot of features. By registering, your business will appear on the local map online, directing customers to your shop. You have the added benefit of boosting your SEO. Google gives higher rankings to those sites registered with them because it means you are a verified business. Also, you can use Google Analytic tools to track your website traffic and even add a printable coupon right to your listing. The second highest-ranking search engine is Bing. Bing comes as a default on all Windows 8 machines and more recent versions, so the reach is still significant. Add photos, videos, your business’s location, and more details when registering through Bing Places for Business. Registration is free and easy and if you are already verified with Google, adding a Bing registration may reach brand new customers. Yahoo Localworks is the third largest search engine. You can get a basic listing for free, but the paid subscriptions get you a lot more features. Yahoo offers reports on your web statistics as well as helping you to build relationships with your customers. Registering with all three search giants will help you to reach out to a new client base, generating more leads to your website. If you are confused about how to go about listing on all the three search engines, you do not need to worry. All you need to do is find the best among the digital marketing agencies in the market for your needs. They will act as your guide along the way. Aside from the three major search engines, there are also local directories you shouldn’t ignore. They tend to offer more reviews for your local businesses and are a great place to send your customers for testimonials. Yelp is great with client feedback, allowing your potential customers the chance to read word-of-mouth reviews about your service or your product. Merchant Express is like social media made specifically for small business owners. The Yellow Pages and the White Pages are a trusted name to turn to when looking for a repairman or a good restaurant. Getting your business listed on all these local sites will help to improve your local reach, potentially landing you more business in the process. Here are some examples: Angie’s List. Angie’s List is the perfect vehicle for increasing local SEO. It began as a review site for local businesses but has since expanded by keeping up with the competition and offering paid memberships to businesses – which could be a boon for yours. Better Business Bureau. No matter what kind of business you run, the BBB, or Better Business Bureau, is a great one to be listed with. Though it charges businesses to list, it’s the most widely recognized consumer advocacy organization in the world. Foursquare. Once a site that mixed social media with business reviews, Foursquare has evolved with the mobile and digital revolution. With 75 million businesses engaged, Foursquare is often an untapped source for increasing local foot traffic. Beyond paid social media ads, your business needs a strong social media presence. Social media is one of the fastest-growing ways to promote your business and spread your business through word-of-mouth and personal recommendations. Having a business page on social media means that your clients can tag you, recommend you to a friend, link to your relevant content and find out how to reach you. To stay current, update each of your social media channels on a regular basis. Today, there are many branding agencies in the market that will tell you how to create a well-rounded social media strategy to engage with your audience. Apart from these agencies, there are also a number of platforms that will help you stay on top of your social media game. Check out these platforms that can help you manage all your channels in one easy dashboard. - Hootsuite. Hootsuite offers a wide variety of tools across the platforms to allow you to spend less time focusing on all of your channels individually. - Buffer. Scheduling your content throughout the day keeps your accounts active and your users interacting with your content whenever they sign on to their social media accounts. Instead of being glued to the computer all day waiting for the optimal time to post, try a tool like Buffer to do the hard work for you. - TweetDeck. TweetDeck is the solution for managing several different Twitter accounts at the same time. Follow key hashtags, respond to followers and schedule your content all in one place. Note that it is only available for desktop. ### 4. Create Valuable Content Google consistently communicates that the number one way to get more traffic to your site is through valuable content. While you will be able to attract eyeballs with the help of Web design companies, users need to have a reason to stay on your website. Your readers should learn something from what you have to offer on your website. Make it valuable so that they want to come back again in the future, and you’ll be generating new leads by being a top resource. You can also learn from potential customers who click on your site but don’t interact. Remarket your content toward them to encourage them to return to your site at a later date for new information. If you have trouble creating content, hire a professional content writer. Paying for professional content can only benefit you in the long run and will make your website more desirable to your audience. Add a wealth of knowledge that they can’t resist. Tech review sites are websites put together to connect businesses and people to the right software solutions. Clutch is one solution that provides real customer reviews and also offers to conduct market research projects to help small businesses get ahead. Testers are hired with the sole purpose of visiting your website and using it as a client. Client feedback weighs the responses in this search engine, making gathering reviews from clients even more valuable. Known as the go-to resource for all things related to advertising and marketing, web and mobile development, search engine marketing, IT consulting, and software development, it’s a good idea to have a positive presence on the leading resource in the business. While it’s true that organic and word-of-mouth advertising is the best, it sometimes costs a bit to get it started. Google Ads and social media ads are effective ways to increase lead generation. Unfortunately, many businesses ignore Google Ads because of their criteria for landing pages – but that’s actually one of its strengths. Social media ads will let you get away with a thinner landing page until you perfect what you’ve got. They’re inexpensive, effective, and offer quick returns, especially on Facebook. When you consider all the time people stare at these platforms, it would be wasteful to ignore them for lead generation – and you don’t have much to lose by trying. ### 7. Answer Questions on Quora If you haven’t ventured into Quora yet, it’s worth a test drive. The popular question and answer platform opens up a whole new world of marketing. It is different from traditional social media because while you can follow people, you can’t connect with them directly using messages. You can only either ask a question or answer a question. As someone looking to market a product, answer questions relating to your product or service to spread awareness about your brand. Being active on as many different platforms as possible gives your business a chance to reach as many people organically as possible. The complicated world of digital marketing requires research to get your business where you want to go. If you are looking to expand your reach, try something new and see how it impacts your sales strategy. Not every marketing campaign is right for every business model or for every personality. But a healthy mix and not putting all your eggs in one basket will help your business have a more rounded customer base. #### Get reliable updates right in your inbox Get expert insights, website design tips, and exclusive updates on the latest web development trends. ### Newsletter Popup ##### Stephen Moyers Stephen Moyers has over a decade of experience as a technology consultant and web marketing manager. However, the key lies in pinpointing the one that aligns perfectly with your distinct requirements. To achieve this, it’s crucial to acquaint yourself with the design principles and essential guidelines that distinguish the finest web design companies from the rest. Engaging in substantive conversations about these principles empowers you to assess their dedication to achieving excellence and maintaining authenticity. Here’s a comprehensive list of the web design principles that distinguish top-tier web design companies: ### Visual Hierarchy Upon landing on a website, users instinctively gravitate toward specific elements. This phenomenon is artfully orchestrated by professional web design companies through the strategic creation of visual hierarchy. By thoughtfully arranging elements like colors, fonts, images, typography, whitespace, style, and texture, a clear focal point is established, effortlessly capturing the users’ attention. The mastery of size, color, contrast, proximity, alignment, whitespace, texture, and style further intensifies user engagement with your content, visuals, and brand. Furthermore, an understanding of users’ reading patterns, such as the Z pattern and F pattern, becomes pivotal in optimizing their browsing experience. These patterns can be either reinforced or creatively challenged by a skilled web design company to maximize user engagement and interaction. #### Explore the Exemplars Take a moment to explore the exemplary web designs of two renowned entities. Apple‘s website captivates with a Z-pattern viewing pattern, artfully employing generous whitespace and captivating visuals to engage and hold the viewer’s attention. It’s a testament to the power of visual storytelling and seamless user experience. On the other hand, The New York Times follows the F pattern, a strategic choice driven by its content-rich nature and the goal of drawing the viewer’s focus to the day’s significant stories. The New York Times website employs the F-pattern to expertly guide viewers to content-rich sections, prioritizing important stories for a seamless and informative browsing experience. These distinct approaches showcase the importance of tailoring web design to the content and objectives of the website, a practice that professional web design companies prioritize. In the realm of web design, the application of Gestalt’s principles holds a pivotal role. A top-tier web design company comprehends the critical importance of principles such as Reification, Multistability, Invariance, Pragnanz, Proximity, Closure, Similarity, Continuity, and Symmetry. These principles are not just theoretical constructs; they are fundamental tools for creating compelling and visually harmonious digital experiences. When seeking a website design company, it’s imperative to ensure they embrace and apply these principles, particularly when crafting elements like your logo. The incorporation of these principles not only adds depth and meaning to design but also elevates the overall user experience, making it an integral part of professional web design. To streamline the process, many businesses also utilize a logo maker to quickly generate high-quality logo concepts aligned with their brand identity. Gestalt principles play a vital role in web design, and their application often results in visually striking and user-friendly experiences. One of these principles, Closure, is beautifully exemplified by the iconic IBM logo. Despite its simplicity, our minds seamlessly recognize it as the company’s name, showcasing the power of visual design in creating a coherent brand representation. The Principle of Continuity is clearly evident in the website layout of Pinterest. By incorporating uninterrupted whitespace lines in the center, the site offers users a seamless scrolling experience, greatly enhancing the overall flow and coherence of the platform. These practical demonstrations underscore the importance of understanding and applying Gestalt principles for professional web design. When choosing a web design company, prioritizing their grasp of these principles can greatly impact the quality and effectiveness of your online presence. Fitt’s Law underscores the critical notion that the time it takes to reach a specific area on a website is significantly influenced by both the size and distance of the target. Esteemed web design companies understand the profound impact of Fitt’s Law on user experience (UX) and user interface (UI). With this principle in mind, they prioritize the creation of touch targets that are not only sufficiently large but also thoughtfully spaced and easily accessible for users. This user-centered approach, which integrates Fitt’s Law, ultimately translates to a more intuitive and user-friendly digital environment. When selecting a web design company, be sure to consider their commitment to implementing principles like Fitt’s Law, as it can greatly enhance the usability and effectiveness of your website. #### Fitt’s Law in Action Fitt’s Law, when simplified through practical examples, becomes vividly apparent on the HubSpot website. Here, the implementation of visually appealing dropdown menus not only elevates the overall user experience (UX) but also aligns seamlessly with this fundamental principle. By offering easily accessible and well-designed navigation options, HubSpot ensures a browsing experience that is not only intuitive but also exceptionally user-friendly. Likewise, Google’s website effectively demonstrates this principle by strategically positioning vital commands on the side of the screen for effortless selection. This thoughtfully planned layout significantly reduces the need for excessive cursor movement, resulting in an efficient and user-friendly browsing experience that millions of users around the world appreciate daily. These real-world examples underscore the value of incorporating Fitt’s Law into web design. When selecting a web design company, considering their commitment to user-centric principles like Fitt’s Law can make a substantial difference in your site’s usability and overall effectiveness. Hick’s Law serves as a valuable reminder that the time required for making decisions increases as the number and complexity of choices grow. To ensure swift and efficient decision-making on your website, it’s essential to consider implementing strategic approaches. These include minimizing choices, breaking tasks into manageable steps, highlighting recommended options, avoiding unnecessary complexity, and incorporating progressive onboarding. By embracing these measures, your web design can significantly enhance the user experience and streamline the decision-making process for your visitors. Professional web design companies understand the importance of Hick’s Law and incorporate it into their design strategies to create websites that are user-friendly and conducive to quick, informed decisions. Hick’s Law finds tangible application in the design strategies of successful websites. Amazon, for example, masterfully applies this principle by skillfully highlighting and categorizing essential elements, which results in reduced decision time for its users. Through strategic organization and emphasis on key features, Amazon enhances the user experience, allowing visitors to make choices with efficiency and ease. Similarly, The Hustle website offers another noteworthy demonstration of Hick’s Law. By providing users with limited choices, such as subscribing or reading featured stories, the website significantly accelerates decision-making. This approach simplifies the user experience, ensuring visitors can navigate and engage with the content swiftly. These real-world examples underscore the significance of Hick’s Law in web design. By considering these principles when selecting a web design company, you can enhance your website’s ability to guide users effectively and optimize their decision-making process. In the world of web design, Miller’s Law plays a vital role in shaping user experiences. This principle reminds us that individuals can effectively retain around 7 (plus or minus 2) items in their working memory. To ensure optimal comprehension and prevent information overload, it is crucial to apply Miller’s Law. Professional web design companies understand the importance of this principle and strategically divide content into smaller, more manageable chunks. By doing so, they not only enhance brand recall but also tailor messages to accommodate the varying short-term memory capacities of their audience. This user-centric approach, rooted in Miller’s Law, leads to more engaging and memorable web experiences. When selecting a web design company, considering their adherence to principles like Miller’s Law can significantly impact the effectiveness of your website. The importance of Miller’s Law becomes abundantly clear when we observe how leading brands apply this principle on their websites. A prime example is Netflix, where content is thoughtfully categorized into titles. This strategic approach enables viewers to process information in manageable portions, effectively averting sensory overload. By utilizing chunking, Netflix enhances the user experience and ensures that viewers can explore their offerings with ease. eBay‘s Website Design Company is another notable example that has embraced Miller’s Law. The site thoughtfully presents a fixed number of offerings at any given time, ensuring that viewers never feel overwhelmed. This approach aligns seamlessly with the principle and showcases the brand’s commitment to a user-friendly browsing experience. After acquainting yourself with these essential web design principles, it’s essential to inquire about a web design company’s understanding and application of these principles. By assessing their familiarity and ensuring alignment with your project requirements, you can make an informed choice that greatly impacts the effectiveness and usability of your website. #### Conclusion When choosing a web design company, understanding and applying fundamental design principles, such as visual hierarchy, Gestalt principles, Fitt’s Law, and Hick’s Law, are key considerations. These principles play a crucial role in creating user-friendly, engaging, and effective websites. Professional web design companies embrace and implement these principles, enhancing the quality and usability of your online presence. #### Get reliable updates right in your inbox Get expert insights, website design tips, and exclusive updates on the latest web development trends. ### Newsletter Popup ##### Stephen Moyers Stephen Moyers has over a decade of experience as a technology consultant and web marketing manager. But how much should a law firm expect to invest in website design? From essential features to advanced customizations, several factors influence the final cost. This guide explores the expenses associated with designing a law firm website, providing practical insights to help you make an informed decision. Latest Facts About Law Firm Website Designs Here are some recent statistics and insights that highlight the importance and costs associated with law firm website designs: - Average Cost Range: Law firm website design costs vary depending on complexity and features. More advanced functionality, such as custom integrations or SEO optimization, can impact the overall investment. - Impact of Customization: Custom designs often add 50% more to costs compared to template-based designs. - SEO Integration: SEO strategies integrated during the design phase can add 10-20% to the overall cost. - Mobile Optimization Necessity: Over 60% of web traffic comes from mobile devices, making responsive design a key factor in pricing. Understanding these numbers is essential for budgeting and planning a website that aligns with your firm’s needs and goals. Website design costs vary widely based on several core factors, including the site’s complexity, desired features, and the level of customization needed. Here’s an in-depth look at what drives these costs. Website Complexity and Features The complexity of your website is one of the primary cost factors. Complex sites with custom functionalities, like client portals or secure document upload systems, require more development time and resources. - Basic Sites: These might include only a few pages with standard text and images. - Advanced Sites: Features like online consultations, chat support, and automated appointment scheduling increase design costs due to the need for specialized coding and integration. Design Customization vs. Templates Law firms have two main design options: custom designs built from scratch or template-based designs. - Custom Design: This involves creating a unique website tailored to your brand’s style, needs, and goals, but it’s more expensive. - Template-Based Design: Using a pre-built template can save on costs, but customization options are limited. Custom designs can enhance a firm’s brand and user experience, while templates are quicker and more affordable. Balancing customization with budget is key to achieving your goals without overspending. Content Development and Copywriting Quality content is crucial for law firm websites, as it establishes credibility, explains services, and engages visitors. Content development includes: - Copywriting: Professionally written, SEO-optimized text that explains your services clearly. - Media Elements: Adding visuals like images and videos increases engagement but may also increase design costs. Content is an investment that pays off by attracting clients and improving search engine rankings. The costs can vary depending on the amount and complexity of the content needed. SEO and Digital Marketing Integration Investing in SEO and digital marketing integration during the design phase can significantly enhance your website’s effectiveness in attracting clients. Typical services include: - On-Page SEO: Optimizing content, meta descriptions, and titles to rank higher in search engines. - Digital Marketing Tools: Integrating analytics and email marketing tools to track and engage visitors. These elements add to the initial design cost but deliver long-term benefits by increasing your website’s visibility and effectiveness. Ongoing Maintenance and Support Law firm websites require ongoing maintenance to ensure security, functionality, and performance. Regular updates, security monitoring, and performance optimization keep the site running smoothly and help prevent issues. - Security Updates: Essential for protecting client data and complying with privacy regulations. - Performance Optimization: Regular speed and functionality checks to maintain a positive user experience. Budgeting for maintenance is essential to keep your site updated and aligned with your firm’s evolving needs. Law firms should invest in a professional, customized website that suits their specific needs. While some agencies offer cheaper templates, a well-designed, tailored website ensures the essential features and modern design required for success. Grow Law Firm focuses on delivering personalized, high-quality websites that meet the unique requirements of solo attorneys or small firms, ensuring optimal functionality and client engagement. Customization, additional pages, and developer expertise can impact the price. Grow Law Firm offers free financing, allowing payments to be spread over 24 months. Different types of law firms have varying website design needs and costs. Here’s an approximate cost breakdown based on firm size and requirements. Solo Practitioner Websites A solo practitioner’s website typically includes basic informational pages such as a homepage, about, services, and contact sections. Solo attorneys benefit from clean, professional websites that establish credibility and present essential information clearly, without unnecessary complexity. This helps in building trust with potential clients and providing a seamless user experience. Small Law Firm Websites Small firms with multiple attorneys and service areas generally require more comprehensive websites. Typical features include team bios, service pages, and client testimonials. This type of website might cost more.. Large Law Firm Websites Large firms with multiple practice areas and attorneys often need extensive websites. These sites may include multiple practice area pages, attorney profiles, and client portals, with an estimated cost of $25,000 or more. After a law firm’s website is up and running, there are regular costs to keep it secure, functional, and performing well. Key ongoing expenses include: - Hosting: To be accessible online, websites need hosting services. Costs depend on the provider, server capacity, and security features. Choosing a reliable host ensures your site can handle traffic and stay online. - Software Updates: Website software and plugins need regular updates for security and improved functionality. For complex sites, these updates may need professional help. - Backups and Recovery: Regularly backing up your website helps protect against data loss and ensures smooth recovery in case of issues. - Technical Support: Reliable support is essential for troubleshooting and updates. This may involve hiring IT staff, working with a web agency, or subscribing to a support plan. Once your website is live, maintenance becomes an ongoing task. You can choose between handling it yourself (DIY) or hiring a professional service. Pros and Cons of DIY Maintenance While DIY maintenance may work for some small websites, it has significant drawbacks, especially for larger or more complex sites. Pros: - Cost-Effective: You save money by handling updates and fixes yourself, without the cost of hiring professionals. - Control Over Changes: You have the freedom to make changes whenever needed, without waiting for external help. Cons: - Time-Consuming: Maintaining a website requires regular updates, security checks, and troubleshooting, which can be very time-intensive. - Technical Challenges: Without technical expertise, you may struggle to handle complex issues, potentially causing more problems. - Risk of Errors: DIY maintenance can lead to mistakes that affect your site’s performance, security, or user experience, which could damage your brand’s reputation. While DIY maintenance might be manageable for those with technical skills, it can become overwhelming and risky for larger law firm websites or businesses with more complex needs. When to Invest in Professional Maintenance For most law firms, professional website maintenance is a smart investment that offers long-term benefits. - Security and Compliance: Professionals are always up-to-date with the latest security protocols, which is critical for law firms that deal with sensitive client data. They ensure your website remains secure and compliant with industry regulations. - Time Savings: By outsourcing maintenance, your team can focus on serving clients, while experts handle updates, fixes, and monitoring. - Peace of Mind: Professional maintenance ensures your website stays functional, secure, and provides a seamless user experience, freeing you from worrying about technical issues. Investing in professional website maintenance helps avoid the risks associated with DIY approaches and ensures that your website is in good hands. How can you improve the UX with the help of SEO? Check out the 4 fantastic SEO strategies to improve the website's user experience and grow your business. ## Page Content ###### INSIGHT ## SEO Strategies To Improve UX - 1 What is UX? - 2 1. Optimize Your Website - 3 2. Use SEO terms and keywords - 4 3. Create content, be cognizant of UX - 5 4. Are you paying enough attention to mobiles? - 6 Combining UX and SEO What works for the user works well for the search engines too! With hundreds of ranking parameters influencing your ranking position and where your website will show in Google, UX or user experience significantly affects your ranking position. In actuality, UX and SEO have teamed up, and when it comes to search results, they collaborate to either help you or hurt you. ### What is UX? User experience is the culmination of a user’s encounters with your website, from when they arrive to when they leave. The user experience of your website includes how it looks and functions and how quickly and easily people can access the information they need. Your material, including text, video, and image information, is also a part of the user experience. Users shouldn’t have to sift through unnecessary or repetitious information to find what they need; instead, the material should aim to assist users in achieving their goals by giving them the appropriate information at the right moment. If you’re wondering how to find faithful prospects in the vast world of online communities, search engine optimization (SEO) is the answer. Vouched by the best SEO companies and leading digital marketing companies, we have gathered these top four SEO tactics to help you dominate your SEO, and regularly score highly on Google searches to improve your UX effectively. ### 1. Optimize Your Website Your website is in charge of how well your SEO efforts work. The technical aspects of website enhancement also include structural changes and faster page loads. The fastest e-commerce conversion rates take place on pages that load in under two seconds. Because page load speed affects how quickly web pages load on desktops and mobile devices alike, it is crucial to optimize page load speed. Visitors’ interest will wane, and they will switch to a rival website if loading takes too long. The same research also concluded that every additional second a page takes to load results in a 4.42% decrease in visitor retention. A few recommendations for speeding up your page load time are as follows: - Remove any unnecessary scripts or code. - Use simple, web-optimized images in favor of clumsy, crowded designs. - Use content formats to enable scanning of your website. A good website structure is influenced by a variety of factors, including the number of site links, enhanced crawling, logical hierarchy, menu, and sitemap, to mention a few. It’s also crucial to check that your website’s structure is straightforward. ### 2. Use SEO terms and keywords With close to 90% of traffic coming from results on the first page of Google searches, you cannot afford not to be there, especially if your competitors are. SEO keywords are the keywords and phrases that you employ in your website content to help the search engines find your pages. Consequently, it is crucial to use SEO keywords because they make your material simple to find online for your users. Before creating your SEO texts, conduct keyword research to have your list of SEO keywords ready. Be sure you comprehend your target audience, their wants, and the best way for them to express those demands. Because there are platforms where individuals may write on various topics, social media sites like Quora, Reddit, and the like are the best places to gather free SEO keywords. You can locate a few likely keywords and phrases if your product or service category is one of the topics. What does a website visitor desire from this page? Is there anything specific that they are attempting to achieve? What do they hope to accomplish? Your response to these questions helps you curate content explicitly for your audience. Content is the most crucial element in search engine results. The main ingredients of high-quality content are accurate and pertinent information, delivered in a readable fashion and written from the correct viewpoints using precise language. SEO strategies include some or all of the following non-text content – images, GIFs, videos, audios, infographics, and podcasts. In addition to being mindful of what to add, also: - Have a clear objective of your content and ensure there is a clear takeaway or CTA - Leverage surveys and analytics tools to understand your target audience - Build an editorial calendar and update your content on a regular basis To illustrate your point, you may need to create your photos occasionally. Sometimes, this entails presenting the data in a graph to convey the meaning. Did you realize that the majority of website traffic now comes from mobile devices? This data indicates that your website isn’t operating as effectively as it might. Additionally, your business suffers if your website isn’t functioning correctly. Creating a website responsive to all mobile devices is not always straightforward. That explains why many businesses outsource their web design needs to reputable firms. So how can you know whether you require outside assistance? Here are some likely indications: - Viewing the content of your website on the phone is not fun. - Your website doesn’t appear appealing on an iPhone or an Android smartphone. - Visitors are subscribing to your newsletter but then leaving your website without returning. Your SEO material will be more successful, and your site will rank higher in search results. This happens when potential customers use your keywords and phrases when searching if you optimize your website to be mobile-friendly in both formatting and content. ### Combining UX and SEO Undoubtedly, a lack of impactful SEO strategies significantly impacts user experience. Focusing on how visitors arrive at your website from search results and their experience there will be more crucial than ever as Google continues to develop its ranking factor techniques. For example, it is not necessary if you are in the top position on a desktop -you will be top on mobile devices – the ranking may be up or down by 20% but if one has created properly designed web pages – the ranking will be up-to-date on both the devices. That’s absolutely true! Mobile optimization is crucial for SEO and ensuring a good user experience. It’s important to design websites that are both responsive and optimized for various devices. #### Get awesome web related content every week ### Related ### Featured Projects --- # 6 Ways to Increase Your Page Views Per Visitor URL: https://www.spinxdigital.com/blog/6-ways-to-increase-your-page-views-per-visitor Meta description: Read on to know how you can increase page views per visitor effectively and prevent them to jump quickly from your site. ## Page Content ###### INSIGHT ## 6 Ways to Increase Your Page Views Per Visitor - 1 1. Make Sure the Message Is Primary - 2 2. Provide Links to Related Content - 3 3. Have a Sitemap - 4 4. Be Consistent - 5 5. Be Responsive - 6 6. Constantly Test and Improve In the big world of digital media, digital marketing agencies and online brands, it is truly a challenge to be visible. Today, bringing customers to your page is no easy feat. You need to undergo a number of steps, one of which is hiring the best SEO Companies to grab some eyeballs on the internet. So you’ve got people coming to your site, which is an excellent first step. However, now you need to keep them there for a while. Here are some quick tips on how to make certain a visitor isn’t just going to turn around and leave. Creative Agencies swear by one rule. No matter what the content is, the message should be the most obvious element. There are several factors that frequently distract a viewer from the message. The first is sidebars. Many sites have distracting content on the sidebars, some of which, when clicked on, will send the reader onto another site – possibly never to return. Whatever is on the sidebar should be important to the reader and not change with distracting frequency. Links to other relevant sites and content are a productive way to use the sidebar space, so long as they’re used appropriately both from a design and content perspective. You should also reduce user interface elements that require scrolling. There’s a delicate balance between getting the related information into a single spot and making a user interface nearly impossible to use because you have to scroll down in the interface itself, which is even more difficult because of the small size of most interface elements. People want to be able to trust that a giant advertisement won’t interrupt their reading more than once. Looking after all these aspects of website redesign will ensure that your end user is not distracted from the main message that you are trying to communicate. Appropriate links to related content are a must. Whether you provide links embedded within the text or as a separate “Related Content” section, users prefer content with links rather than content without. One reason to use links is to provide answers to frequently asked questions quickly and without over-explaining. People who already know what a concept is can ignore the link, while those who do not can quickly discover the answer. Another reason is to provide a logical next step. If a reader wants to know more about a topic, you’ve provided them with a number of different perspectives on the subject. They don’t have to go out and find more themselves. Third, it’s a key way to build trust. Rather than simply relying on your own authority and saying “Trust me,” you give them reasons to trust you, such as other people’s opinions and facts that support your position. ### 3. Have a Sitemap Branding Companies will tell you that Just as print books often have an index, a website should have a sitemap. The sitemap will help your readership find precisely what it’s looking for, as opposed to being forced to go through a large number of pages and user interfaces to try and find content. Most readers will simply leave the page if asked to do that. Sitemaps should, above all, be functional. Ease of navigation trumps all other factors when using one. Again, take a book’s index. A successful index has no distracting content elements, and neither should your sitemap. Even with a sitemap, you should also have a navigation bar that takes readers to frequently viewed content. That way, if a person is trying to find a popular page or topic, he or she can go there immediately, even without using the sitemap. ### 4. Be Consistent This should be your motto in all things regarding your website. Design elements should be consistent from one page to the next. Types of content should always have the same layout and color scheme. This makes your page readable and lets your readers know what to expect. For example, people will immediately recognize these two pages as being related: Image Source: QuickSprout However, be consistent in your message, as well. People come to expect certain messages from a brand. Changing those messages not only confuses people; it can damage trust, as consistency is the most important trust builder in any relationship. Website design companies will help you ensure that your brand message is uniform across platforms. ### 5. Be Responsive Like any other element, there are multiple types of responsiveness. First is ensuring problems that come up with your pages are taken care of. Bugs need to be eliminated quickly, sitemaps updated to take into account new content, and broken links and files removed. The reader should never have to be concerned about whether the site will work as it should. Another dimension of responsiveness is with respect to readers. Activate the comments section on blogs, and respond to the comments. Have a contact page with the best way to reach you. Make certain suggestions are addressed. Do all of this consistently, and people will trust you to take them seriously. After all, websites are about building relationships, and responsiveness and trust are required for any relationship to succeed. You need to keep availing of the best website redesign services so you are always responsive to your end customers. A lot goes into making a successful website. If you’re trying to increase page views per visitor, that means every part of a site must be useful and functional. At any point of confusion in usability or design, you stand to lose readers or customers. Ensure your website is a well-oiled machine by constantly checking for issues and updating as needed. One way you can do this is by updating the web development languages that are being used on your site so that you do not have a website that is not engaging for your end user. There are several ways to do this, but one of the most helpful is simply listening to your readers. Make sure your site error messages include a link to report problems (and incentivize our audience for this as necessary), and use analytics to track and respond to where your patrons may be getting thrown off track. #### Get reliable updates right in your inbox Get expert insights, website design tips, and exclusive updates on the latest web development trends. ### Newsletter Popup ##### Stephen Moyers Stephen Moyers has over a decade of experience as a technology consultant and web marketing manager.
