S&B Services Website Redesign

S&B Services builds the kind of infrastructure most people never think about, but everyone depends on. From complex construction to mission-critical environments, their work demands precision, trust, and credibility at the highest level.
Discovery
When we first reviewed the S&B Services website, it felt like it was still in the early stages of the company’s journey, despite the firm having years of real-world experience behind it.
The site offered a basic introduction, but it didn’t clearly communicate their capabilities, leadership, or the scale of projects they deliver. For a firm operating in high-stakes AEC environments, the site didn’t inspire confidence, or reflect the caliber of their work.
We kicked things off with a focused discovery questionnaire, followed by a full website audit to understand what was missing and what wasn’t working. We also completed a competitive audit to see how other firms in the AEC space were positioning themselves online. The takeaway was clear: S&B needed an AEC website redesign that told their story with confidence and made a strong first impression.

UX Strategy
From there, we shifted into strategy mode, starting with content.
We worked through what needed to be said, what could be simplified, and how to clearly communicate S&B’s value without overwhelming the visitor.
We explored how their brand should show up on the web: more confident, more modern, and more aligned with the seriousness of their work.
Moodboard exploration helped us define the right look and feel before design began, grounding the AEC website redesign in clarity, credibility, and intention. Every UX decision focused on making it easy for visitors to understand what S&B does and why they should trust them.
Build
With a strong foundation in place, we moved into design and custom WordPress development.
Visually, we expanded the brand with a richer color palette and refined typography pairings that feel professional, grounded, and modern, without losing the brand’s core identity. We paired this with real imagery from construction, infrastructure, and field environments to show the work S&B does every day.
Subtle animations were layered throughout the site to add movement and polish, helping guide the eye and make the experience feel alive.
We rebuilt the services portfolio to better showcase the scale and complexity of their work, giving visitors a clearer sense of S&B’s real-world impact. Clear “Get in Touch” CTAs were placed throughout the site to encourage action without pressure.
Behind the scenes, the custom WordPress build gives the S&B team flexibility to update content as they grow since this AEC website redesign wasn’t just about looking better, but about creating a tool that actually works for their business.
