PhatMojo needed a website that better represented who they were as a creative agency, and SPINX was ready to provide a fun experience for visitors.
Our agency was approached by PhatMojo to build a new website that would help them showcase their work and differentiate from their competitors. During the discovery phase, key stakeholders shared their goals for a website that accurately portrayed PhatMojo as a trend-driven, nimble, and clever agency. They also emphasized the importance of a professional and industry-significant website for potential partners. We also learned that showcasing the team and office culture was a key aspect of the new website.
SPINX approached the redesign strategy with several goals in mind – improving interaction and engagement with the content, highlighting case studies of their work, and providing a path for brands to partner with them. We spent a lot of time during the UX Strategy phase planning out the layout of the site and the animations we wanted to incorporate. We knew the interaction experience on the website was key, and something that needed to reflect what someone would expect of a trend-forward agency.
Our team selected a quirky and playful font, Londrina Solid, as the heading typeface and expanded the brand color palette to include brighter purple hues and a secondary green accent. The website was built on Drupal CMS for easy updates, with a custom backend for managing new products/brands, team photos, and other content. The new website reflects the work and changes of a constantly evolving agency. SPINX prioritized interactivity and movement, artfully selecting hero video banners, engaging hover effects, and animation effects paired with parallax movements.
To ensure the website was easily updatable, we built the site on Drupal CMS and developed a custom backend that was intuitive to use. This allowed PhatMojo to easily manage and add new products/brands under the “Our Work” section, as well as assign categories to said products/brands. Additionally, the website was designed to reflect the work, people, and changes of a constantly evolving agency, allowing PhatMojo to change and update the video banners, team photos, category banners, and “Our Work” card images as needed.
Once the website was fully developed, it was time for some intense testing! We tested every aspect of the site, on multiple browsers and devices, to make sure everything worked as perfectly as promised. Once testing was complete, it was time to launch.
Heading up to the site launch, SPINX and PhatMojo collaborated on the launch day to get the site live and unveiled for the public to see. It was exciting to see all the hard work and strategy come together and be ready for use.
