It lacked core features like an enrollment process, didn’t show off the professionalism of the team, and made the business feel much smaller than it really was. Even worse, it didn’t instill trust with parents or attract new tutors.
We kicked off the education website redesign by digging deep: we sent a discovery questionnaire to the founder, interviewed key team members, ran a full website audit, and analyzed how similar programs were positioning themselves. The story was clear—the current site wasn’t just outdated, it was actively holding the business back.
We started with content strategy, figuring out how to explain each program in a way that make the benefits clear to both parents and students and inspire them to take the next step.
Then we defined the ideal user flows: how someone would browse courses, learn about the tutors, and enroll in a session without hitting friction. We also sketched out a conversion funnel to gently guide users from curiosity to commitment. Moodboard explorations helped us lock in a visual direction that felt confident, academic, and with an edge of fun.
The design is bright and modern, with plenty of white space and energizing shapes and patterns that reflect the spirit of learning.
We paired a clean new color palette with strong typography that balances warmth with credibility. Every element—from the custom icon set to the soft scroll animations—was created to add polish without feeling over-the-top. Focused calls-to-action make it easy for visitors to find their next step, whether that’s enrolling in a summer camp, meeting a tutor, or exploring the course catalog.
Subtle animations and hover effects help draw the eye without distracting from the content. We also added dynamic modules so the Honor Academy team can highlight seasonal programs like their Speech & Debate Camp or SAT Crash Course.
This wasn’t just a fresh coat of paint—it was a full-scale education website redesign that transformed the way they connect with families and showcase their strengths.
