The competition was run by the Interactive Media Council (IMC), a nonprofit whose mission is to raise the standards of excellence on the Internet. Its members hail from such distinguished companies as American Express, CNNMoney.com, Microsoft, Ogilvy & Mather, and more.

Creating a website for Quinn Emanuel posed a unique challenge. With a workforce of over 700 attorneys specializing in 30 areas of law and dispersed through 9 countries, the law firm needed a website that communicated a vast amount of information without overwhelming the user.
